Boundary Line

A boundary is a line you hold with your own behavior, said clearly enough that you do not need a lecture. This page helps you write one limit and the action that backs it.

Name one specific limit you need, such as no work calls after a set hour or no comments about your body. Write it as a behavior, not a slogan.

Write the cost of having no line, in time, energy, money, or dignity. Keep it to a short paragraph.

Draft a script you can say once, in a calm voice. Aim for under forty words and read it aloud.

Write the action you will take that you control, such as ending the call, leaving the room, or not answering until morning.

Read the script aloud and mark the sentence that feels hardest. Rewrite that sentence in simpler words and note when you will practice it again.
