Worth Evidence

Self-esteem shrinks when the only evidence allowed is a mistake. This page trains you to record a wider set of facts and to keep them where you can reread them.

Write the global label you have been using, such as useless or behind. Note the situation that usually triggers it.

List five specific moments from the last month when you helped, finished, learned, or told the truth. Include enough detail to picture them.

Add two moments that were hard and still included a decent effort, even if the outcome was mixed. Write what you did, not how you ranked yourself.

Write a description of yourself that a fair friend could defend with the list above. Avoid both a trophy speech and an insult.

Choose a time most evenings to add one new fact. Write the time and the place you will keep the list.
